14th annual Art Spectacular is ranked in the 200 Best Art Fairs in the U.S. in 2015, 2016, and 2017 by Sunshine Artist Magazine. Art Spectacular is the only art fair in Central Illinois included in the "200 Best".  Held outside on the lawn, Washington Park provides the beautiful, aesthetically pleasing venue.  Washington Park is next to a wealthy neighborhood of appreciative and knowledgeable patrons who love Art Spectacular.  Art Spectacular is professionally juried for quality and balance.  Springfield is home to four universities, a community college, a school of medicine, a large medical community, the IL state capitol, and the President Lincoln Presidential Museum.  Art Spectacular is a fundraiser for our world-class musical treasure, the Rees Memorial Carillon - the 5th largest carillon in the world.  Other features of Art Spectacular include demos, patron bucks, preview sale, Kids' Place, Kids' Art Sale, music, food vendor, silent auction and gift basket raffle. Art Spectacular's volunteers 'spoil' our artists with free coffee, water, soda and time-of-day appropriate snacks all day, all weekend, along with booth sitters, assistance, and artists' award dinner!  Art Spectacular is known as an art fair with 'heart' - due to the passion of the on-site, visible and available Founder/Producer/Chair. This exciting art fair is extensively advertised in newspapers, TV, radio, billboards, patron invitations, newsletters, websites, signs, posters, flyers, e-mail, social media and sponsors.  Prohibited are pets, alcohol and, fence cutting.
